Erica Harmelin and Courtney DiBlasi at Drexel University

APOP is an inspired partnership between Courtney DiBlasi and Erica Harmelin delivering concept, design and styling for hospitality and amenity driven environments. Courtney and Erica each hold Master Degrees in Interior Architecture and Design from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where their passion for design was truly ignited. Both went on from the program to work for renowned architecture and design firms contributing to successful multi-family, hotel, restaurant, luxury residential, senior living and corporate office projects over the past fifteen years. Courtney and Erica have earned their National Council for Interior Design Qualification Certifications (NCIDQ) and maintain close relationships with members of their local design community. While collaborating on many amenity-based projects, Courtney and Erica discovered their similar approach to conceptual storytelling through design and their shared aspirations as artists, designers and entrepreneurs. APOP, A Place of Possibility, was founded in 2018 to deliver a fresh, bold approach to hospitality design for clients looking to tell their stories and shape the cultural future of their spaces. At APOP, we fundamentally believe in listening to our clients with the utmost empathy and stretching the boundaries of what is truly possible for each project and budget. Through these discoveries, we are able to narrate conceptual scripts artfully into each detail of the interior environment. We strive to bring the visions and values of our clients to life and in turn, continue to fulfill our roll as artistic seekers in the world around us.
